SMEC - offers seven railway tracks set in 'Britain in Bloom' prizewinning private use grounds.

The track gauges are: 5" gauge (2 tracks), 3.5" gauge (2 tracks), 2.5" gauge, Gauge 1, and 32mm.

The club holds weekly meetings on Wednesday evenings starting at 19.00 and finishing at approximately 21.00. Train rides are offered to the public on Sundays, weather and availability of members permitting. Wednesday daytime is our workday when grounds and infrastructure maintenance is carried out.

New members of all ages are always welcome, the only proviso being that they have interest in the objectives of the club, which are related to Model Engineering in its broadest sense.
